<h2>What should you be including in your dietary intake?</h2>

Fish, chicken and red meat are valuable sources of protein which form the building blocks of   muscle growth and development. Chicken and beef are leaner options that are also high in protein. Fats are important for body building but you should ensure it is   the right kind of fat and that you are consuming it in moderation so it does not interfere with your health in any way.</p>
<p>Body building requires a lot of energy and body builders can get this from incorporating carbohydrates in the diet. Our bodies use carbohydrates for energy, and   eating them will ensure you have the stamina you need to build your muscles quickly.</p>
<p>Your body will get the most out of complex carbohydrates. The best sources of complex carbohydrates include pasta, whole grain breads and whole grain rice.   Ideally you should eat your carbohydrates with protein.</p>
<p>Body builders also need to ensure they are eating enough fats, and the right kind of fats. Fats are essential for protecting and insulating the vital organs in the body,   especially the lungs and heart. They also create energy in the body when they are broken down so they can be a rich source of fuel during body building. Because   you do not want to gain weight from eating fat you should make sure you are eating the right kinds of fats.</p>
<p>Saturated fats should be consumed in smaller amounts. Examples of saturated fats would include butter and animal lard. Saturated fats are the fats that stay solid   when they are at room temperature, and should be avoided or eaten in small amounts. Rather opt for healthy unsaturated fats like olive oil and flaxseed, which are   even healthier when eaten raw.</p>
<p>Omega 3 fatty acids are important for both mental and physical development and you can get them eating by fish. They will generate energy for your workouts, and   help you fight depression and fatigue. Intense physical activity is likely to leave you feeling tired after a while so make sure you are getting Omega 3 fatty acids in   your diet, as this is something the body cannot produce on its own.</p>
<p>A healthy body should also get enough vitamins and minerals through fresh, raw vegetables. Be more restrictive when it comes to fruits as they contain a lot of   natural sugar which is not good for you.   Nutrition is just as important for your health during body building as weight lifting and regular exercise. Eating the right kinds of foods in the right amounts will do   wonders for your physique and help your muscles get the strength they need to grow. Eating a balanced diet with strengthen your body and give it support while   you train and ensure your overall health improves.</p>
